RMIT students have launched Hungry Talks 2025, a weekly advertising talk show that tackles the industry's biggest questions, wrapped in a '70s retro revival theme.

The show is hosted by Imi Hillier and Nic Cartledge, cutting through the noise with one burning question each episode, plus an industry news wrap-up.

The 2025 season dives into topics including whether AI will take jobs and why advertising sucks, while tackling conversations about advertising to children and smashing gender stereotypes.

Each episode invites industry experts to join the conversation, helping unpack tough questions with fresh perspectives from the next generation of creatives. The show brings in industry professionals to offer clarification, spark debate and challenge assumptions.

Behind the scenes, the show is powered by producer Ocean Wachirapornprut, international correspondent Charlotte Hill, art directors Gemma Caton and Emily Lynn, media and video production by Shamanii Ashley-Barlow, PR and social media by Sophie Lange, sponsorship and account manager Weston Calver and executive producers John Dingeldei and David Ho.

The show offers a chance to hear insights from the next generation of creatives who will soon be shaping teams, challenging briefs and changing the game.

New episodes are released every Wednesday at 6:30pm on the Hungry Talks YouTube channel.
