Carnival Cruise Line has appointed Resolution Digital SEO and journey optimisation agency of record in Australia.

The win follows a competitive pitch and will see Resolution deliver data-led strategies across SEO, CRO, CX and UX, aimed at driving growth and improving digital experiences for Carnival.

While the brief was originally SEO-focused, Carnival chose Resolution for its broader approach that positioned SEO, supported by AI and GEO tools, as a core driver of digital transformation.

“We’re investing in SEO not just as a channel, but as a driver of long-term brand growth,” senior performance marketing manager at Carnival Cruise Line, Jonathan Vittachi, said.

“This partnership marks the next step in how Australians discover Carnival online, making every search an inspiring first step in their holiday journey.”

Melanie Burlett, managing director at Resolution Digital, said the agency would focus on helping Carnival turn online discovery into bookings.

“Carnival is one of Australia’s most loved travel brands, and our partnership is about helping them turn discoverability into measurable growth,” she said.

“By combining the science of SEO with the creativity of CX and CRO, we’ll make it easier for families and first-timers to find, trust, and book their next Carnival holiday.

“We’ve loved working with Jonathan and his team throughout such a highly professional and collaborative pitch process, and we can’t wait to embark on this partnership together.”

Carnival Cruise Line is part of Carnival Corporation & plc, one of the world’s largest leisure travel companies.

The SEO work starts in November, with CRO to follow in January 2026.
