Adnews L!VE is set to throw open the doors to the metaverse at its upcoming conference ‘Metaverse: The Next Ad Frontier’.

The half-day conference will take place at The Ivy, Sydney on June 8.

‘Metaverse: The Next Ad Frontier’ will investigate how agencies, marketers and tech players are preparing for the next digital revolution.

Tennis Australia metaverse and NFT project manager Richard Plummer will join a lineup of keynote speakers, which will also include a presentation from Meta.

Ridley will share insights from this year's Australian Open, the first Grand Slam in the world to enter the metaverse this year.

Vicinity Centres head of marketing, brand and customer experience Corrine Barchanowicz and Optus head of 5G Harvey Wright will join a panel of marketers discussing NFT campaigns.

AdNews publisher Assia Benmedjdoub said ‘Metaverse: The Next Ad Frontier’ is an unmissable event for media, marketing and advertising professionals.

“Adidas, Samsung and Gucci are just some of the brands purchasing parcels of land in the metaverse, while local trailblazers such as Tennis Australia are venturing into new territory with immersive virtual experiences and NFTs. What can we learn from these early pioneers into the space and where is it all heading? That’s just one of the questions we’ll be asking.”

More speakers will be announced in coming weeks.

The event is powered by supporting partners Foxcatcher, LiSTNR, Pubmatic and Boomtown as well as associate partners Piano and Resolution Digital.
