Social media platform Reddit’s revenue from advertising jumped 74% to $663 million in the March quarter.
Reddit said the surge was driven by an increase in impressions and pricing.
Forty per cent of conversations on Reddit are commercial in nature, with people actively discussing products, services and purchase decisions.
Daily active uniques increased 17% to 126.8 million.
“Reddit is a one-of-one business powered by deeply engaged communities and authentic human conversation,” said Steve Huffman, Founder and CEO of Reddit.
“That foundation is driving a rare combination of growth, profitability, and efficiency, and giving Reddit a unique advantage in the age of AI.”
