QTCU appoints Interaction

Queensland Teachers' Credit Union (QTCU) has appointed Interaction Communication Group to 
to its advertising account, without a pitch. 
The incumbent agency, Junior, was not asked to re-pitch.
"This is a very exciting account as more and more people are turning to credit unions as an 
alternative to the large banks for their financial services needs," said Interaction senior 
account manager Len Hannah.
"we have a solid track record within the financial and business sectors, including work 
with Credit Union Australia, and plan to utilise our strengths in branding and creative to 
push to QTCU at the forefront of this movement."
The partnership was made official on Monday (May 31), with Interactive planning to review 
QTCU's current campaigns, implemented by Junior, before starting on new projects.

BRISBANE: Queensland Teachers' Credit Union (QTCU) has handed its advertising account to Interaction Communication Group without a pitch.

The company has parted ways with Junior, its incumbent agency of four years, following its recent appointment to the Bank of Queensland account

"This is a very exciting account as more and more people are turning to credit unions as an alternative to the large banks for their financial services needs," said Interaction senior account director/strategic planner Len Hannah.

"We have a solid track record within the financial and business sectors, including work with Credit Union Australia, and plan to utilise our strengths in branding and creative to push to QTCU at the forefront of this movement."

QTCU's main media spend for the 12 months to March was $490,000, down from $600,000 in the previous corresponding period, according to Nielsen.
