Michael Whiteside, QMS national sales director for advanced trading, and Jacqueline Ingram, national head of client development advanced DOOH at WPP Media, have been elected co-chairs of the IAB Australia DOOH Council.

They replace Brad Palmer of JCDecaux and James Lambert of WPP Media.

The council brings together 22 organisations across media owners, agencies and ad tech.

Research from IAB Australia found 69% of agencies using programmatic DOOH consider it a significant or regularly used part of their activity, reflecting its shift from testing to core media planning.

Over the past year the council developed an updated Programmatic DOOH Buyer's Guide, completed a fourth wave of attitudes research, delivered a local DSP Reporting Matrix and had more than 1,000 industry professionals do the Foundations of Programmatic DOOH course.
