Digital outdoor media company QMS has extended its partnership with Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight, presented by advertising partner AAMI.

The event raises money for blind and vision impaired children across Australia and is part of QMS’s Q-Cares initiative that focuses on supporting the community.

The campaign includes QMS’s digital large format network and will also be shared across as The Convenience Network at 7-Eleven locations in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

“We’re incredibly proud to be supporting Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight for the fourth year in a row,” said QMS chief operating officer, Sara Lappage.

“This beloved Australian celebration brings the nation together at this special time and makes a real difference to the lives of children and families across the country.

“Vision Australia’s work in providing specialised services to children who are blind or have low vision is more important than ever, and we’re honoured to help amplify their message and support their largest annual fundraiser."

Vision Australia general manager of fundraising and marketing, Ian Finlayson, said the partnership with QMS helps Vision’s message reach more Australians through the network’s scale and reach across the country.

“We are excited to partner with QMS again to promote this important fundraiser,” he said.

“Each year, Vision Australia helps close to 2000 children to receive life-changing services. Thanks to partners like QMS, we are able to reach thousands of Australians and invite them to give back to our cause – helping children who are blind or have low vision to thrive, while enjoying an incredible night of festive performances.”

Suncorp executive general manager of  brand and customer experience, Mim Haysom, said the festive event brings together both community and cause.

“Carols by Candlelight is more than a festive event – it’s an opportunity to create magical memories while raising vital funds for children who are blind or have low vision,” she said.

“We’re honoured to work alongside Vision Australia and their partner, QMS, to bring communities together to share in the magic of Christmas.”

The event will be broadcasted by the Nine Network live from 8.00 pm AEDT on Christmas Eve, with audio broadcasts available on the Vision Australia Radio.
