Publicis Groupe landed six major new clients in the past six months valued at €300 million (AUD490 million) in net new revenue, according to CEO Arthur Sadoun.

Sadoun, briefing analysts on the group's June quarter results, said the wins would deliver around two percentage points of growth in a full year.

"We are talking here about EUR 300 million of net new revenue for the group. I think it's important to understand the magnitude,” he said.

The France-based group raised its full year organic growth guidance to a range of 4.5% to 5% from 4% to 5% previously, after posting 4.8% for the June quarter.

Sadoun said the wins were all new accounts rather than expanded work with existing clients and came on top of a strong finish to 2025.

He said the new business environment had been reshaped by consolidation, with the competitive field for the biggest global accounts cut to three players from four, following the takeover of IPG by Omnicom.

"When it comes to big marquee companies with huge spend, let's say above EUR 800 million, the competitive landscape has been reduced from four to three players. That is helping us," Sadoun said.

In an apparent reference to WPP’s restructuring, changes of CEO at dentsu and Omnicom’s consolidation of IPG, Sadoun said: "And some players have been a bit distracted recently."

He also took aim at rivals claiming superior new business performance in the trade press, saying the numbers would soon tell the story.

"If it's not only headlines, it should translate after what is nine months into their numbers and their performance starting now,” he said.

"Honestly, this would be great for the industry because we need our peers to do well. If they are doing even better, great.

“What matters is not the press headline, but how the win translates into growth and margin.”

Publicis does not disclose the names of new business wins.

Sadoun said the group had been number one in new business for the past seven years, with client retention close to 100% and no material losses in the past 12 months.
