Prophet has appointed Lachie Trembath its first senior marketing science partner and Tong Wang senior sysops engineer, following 309% growth in enterprise customers over the past year.

The Australian decision intelligence platform, which builds digital clones of client businesses to simulate marketing and pricing decisions, has added Endeavour Group and Kraft Heinz among new enterprise customers.

Its growing client base has prompted expansion of cloud infrastructure across multiple regions, supporting local data residency and sovereignty requirements.

Trembath joins from Analytic Partners, where he spent nearly four years in marketing science, most recently as senior marketing science analyst. He worked with enterprise organisations to build and apply marketing mix models.

In his new role, Trembath will work directly with enterprise customers, helping them interpret model outputs and turn analysis into commercial decisions.

Prophet head of decision science Rachel Scott said Trembath's appointment strengthened the division's technical and customer-partnership capability.

"Lachie has a track record for translating complex modelling into practical business decisions, and significant experience working with large enterprise marketing teams, making him a good fit to support our growing customer base," she said.

Trembath said demand had grown for marketing scientists who could help customers interpret results and apply insights across the business.

"I'm looking forward to partnering with Prophet customers throughout their decision-making journey, helping them understand how their digital clone works, identify opportunities for optimisation and build confidence in the commercial decisions they make," he said.

In his newly created role, Wang will maintain and improve Prophet's cloud infrastructure, including platform reliability, automation and incident response, along with the operational controls behind its ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2 Type II audit program.

Prophet head of engineering Matthew Winter said Wang's approach suited the company's rising operational standards as it onboards more customers.

"He automates rather than firefights, and he treats reliability and security as engineering problems, rather than checklists," he said.

Wang said he was looking forward to supporting Prophet's engineering team as the platform scales.

"I enjoy building and operating highly available cloud platforms, automating infrastructure and improving operational efficiency," he said.

Both appointments are effective immediately.
