The CRA urged brands to plan ahead of Father's Day, highlighting that male podcast listeners aged 25-54 were tuning in to sports (57%), technology (52%) and leisure (47%).
Among this audience, 82% were employed full-time and 60% owned a car.
"As the medium grows and advertiser interest deepens, the need for verified, independent data increases. The Ranker exists to meet that need - a single, credible source of truth for a thriving industry. For advertisers navigating an evolving landscape, that transparency is what turns interest into investment," said Lizzie Young, CEO of CRA.
Stephen Haddad, Southern Cross Media Group’s chief operating officer, said LiSTNR's result in the ranker reflected a strong commercial opportunity for advertisers.
“Today’s April Triton Podcast Ranker results reinforce LiSTNR’s position as Australia's leading commercial podcast network, showing continual year-on-year audience growth," said Haddad.
“To see the LiSTNR team continue to maximise these growing audiences commercially through its investment in AdTech - and with its known audience - provides proven real-time advertising solutions for our clients.”
