Triton Digital’s Podcast Ranker for August has been released and Hamish & Andy (LiSTNR [SCA]) have extended their reign atop both the Top 100 Ranker and Top 100 All-Australian Ranker to six months.
With close to a million (997,000) monthly listeners, the comedy duo registered their highest monthly listener total of the last 12 months and 150,000 more than Audioboom’s Casefile True Crime, which was in second place with 744,393.
ARN/iHeartMedia’s The Kyle & Jackie O Show moved up two places from the July ranking to finish in third with 586,364 monthly listeners and the second-highest total of monthly downloads at over 2.1 million.
Schwart Media’s 7am remained at number four in the rankings, totalling close to half a million monthly listeners (498,140), with Life Uncut with Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne closing out the top five. The ARN/iHeartMedia podcast rose eight places from last month’s ranking to finish with 467,351 monthly listeners.
For the fifth straight month, ARN/iHeartMedia’s Stuff You Should Know topped the monthly downloads list, racking up over 2.9 million in total.
ARN/iHeartMedia andLiSTNR (SCA) remained at number one and two in the Top Publishers rankings, with Stitcher rising one spot from July to close out the top three. ARN’s 19,336,723 monthly downloads are the highest figures since May.
