Triton Digital’s Podcast Ranker for November has been released, with Hamish & Andy regaining the number one spot in both the Top 100 Ranker and Top 100 All-Australian Ranker.

After seven consecutive months in first place, the duo were displaced by Casefile True Crime in October, but have returned to the top with over 985,000 monthly listeners in November.

Casefile True Crime may have fallen a spot, but they still racked up over 929,000 monthly listeners and over 2.3 million monthly downloads, the second-most in November; Hamish & Andy registered over 2.1 million monthly downloads.

Mamamia had nine podcasts debuting in the November Ranker, with two making it into the top 10 - Mamamia Out Loud in third place with 562,289 monthly listeners and No Filter in ninth place with 326,166 monthly listeners.

ARN/iHeartMedia's Life Uncut and The Kyle & Jackie O Show made it into fourth and fifth place, with both podcasts totalling close to 490,000 monthly downloads.

The Top Publishers rankings remain unchanged from September, with ARN/iHeartMedia in first, LiSTNR (SCA) in second and Audioboom in third. ARN/iHeartMedia led the pack with over 3.9 million monthly listeners and over 18.3 million monthly downloads.

SCA's executive head of LiSTNR Podcasts, Grant Tothill, said: “Remaining the number one podcast network in Australia, along with Hamish & Andy returning to number one, and with so many podcast titles featuring well in the ranker is a great start to the holiday season where people have more time to listen. LiSTNR has more titles to be published in January and February, so we look forward to another year of growth in 2023,”

ARN's head of digital audio, Corey Layton, said: “In 2022, Australians love of podcasts has continued to grow with our network achieving a 16% increase in listeners year on year. Our incredible slate of shows continues to entertain and educate listeners, with a wealth of innovative new shows set to soar in 2023.”

The Ranker provides insight into the Top 100 Podcasts as well as the Top 10 Publishers in Australia from 1 October through 31 October, 2022, as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.
