Pizza Hut is reveiwing its creative account with incumbent M&C Saatchi understood not to be pitching for the business.

It is thought a number of agencies are pitching for the account.

"M&C Saatchi cannot comment on a client's business," said a spokesperson for the agency. However, it is understood that the agency has declined the opporuntiy to pitch.

Media is not thought to be affected by the review. MediaCom handles Pizza Hut's media buying and strategy.

Yum-owned Pizza Hut Australia reported an estimated $6.1M in main media spend (Aug 2013- July 2014), according to Nielsen data, although digital spend would likely add several million onto that figure.

UPDATE:  A spokesperson for M&C Saatchi later confirmed the agency had declined to repitch for the business after eight years working on the account.

M&C Saatchi CEO Jaimes Leggett said: "Pizza Hut is a brilliant brand, in a highly competitive environment. We're fiercely proud of our eight year partnership and wish them all the best in the next stage of their journey.”
