Heart Foundation picks Host/Havas

The National Heart Foundation has selected Host/Havas as its new creative agency following a competitive pitch, AdNews can reveal. Host/Havas will lead the development of a new marketing stategy and creative direction for the not-for-profit organisation, including a major brand push in early 2019. The aim of the work will be to inspire Australians in the fight against heart disease, which is Australia’s single leading cause of death, and will be their first campaign in a number of years. Newly appointed chief marketing officer Chris Taylor, who joined the organisation from Woolworths in March, will spearhead the brand refresh. Read more here.

QUT appoints BCM

Queensland University of Technology has retained BCM as its agency of record. BCM will partner QUT with brand development, creative and digital development, as well as content creation, and media strategy and planning. According to Janne Rayner, QUT’s Director of Marketing and Communications, the open market review attracted over a dozen responses. BCM’s managing director Kevin Moreland said: “QUT is an iconic brand, and, because of that, we knew the account would be hotly contested. We took nothing for granted in the pitch process and feel very privileged that QUT has elected to continue its association with us.”
