The Women in Media national conference returned to Sydney on August 15.
The full-day event was attended by more than 450 women from across advertising, communications, journalism, technology, digital, screen, publishing and streaming.
Some of the speakers included WPP Media’s Aimee Buchanan, Thinkerbell’s Adam Ferrier, Stan Originals’ Amanda Duthie, Network 10’s Beverley McGarvey, Mamamia’s Jessie Stephens and Seven’s Sarah Stinson.
Women in Media chair Anita Jacoby opened the conference, followed by a Welcome to Country from Binowee Bayles and a number of panels discussing issues such as DEI, crisis comms and the future of media.
