Independent ad agency Kaimera hosted its fourth annual two-day offsite at Kiama south of Sydney for its 40 staff.

The get together featured  a mix of inspirational speakers, team bonding activities and plenty of fun.

Nick Behr, Kaimera chief executive officer and founder, says the company that plays together, stays together.

"Events like this make Kaimera the vibrant and energic place it is today," Behr said.

"We are committed to continue to create an environment where collaboration thrives, creativity flourishes and success knows no bounds."

The two days kicked off with icebreaker activities that got the staff laughing and learning about each other. With the paper plane challenge hit the mark for teamwork, communication and collaboration.

The team also heard from keynote speakers, Brittany Hockley, ex-bachelor finalist, talked about building her podcast from the ground up.

Mel Hopkins, chief marketing and audience officer Seven West Media, inspired the team when talking about her new role and plans to "shake up the category".

From team lunches and dinners, to barefoot bowls and a spot of karaoke, there were plenty of light moments that helped the team bond on a personal level and strengthened their connections professionally.

Trent McMillan, Kaimera chief digital officer and founder, thanked his team for setting the bar high.

"Talk about dedication! The team’s all-in attitude was a shining example of their passion and commitment," McMillan said.

Will Brown, the newest staff member to Kaimera, said his first offsite made him feel like a rookie superhero.

"It was all about building bonds, having a blast, conquering challenges together and forging friendships that will survive any Monday blues," Brown said.
