The Independent Media Agencies of Australia (IMAA) and ARN held their annual Christmas networking event on superyacht Ghost II on Sydney Harbour.
Hosted by Nick Flood, national sales director - direct and independent for ARN, people from 32 independent media agencies across Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne were on board to celebrate.
Agencies on board included 100% Digital, 3Forward, Ad Room, Adenium, Admatic, AdUnion, AFFINITY, AvenueC, Awaken, BCM, Bench Media, Edge, Enigma, Glide Agency, Half Dome, Kaimera, Love Media, McKenzie, Media Republic, Murmur, OMDigi, One Media Co, Other Birds, Pearman Media, Saint Mob Media, Sandbox, Slingshot, Talent Corp, The Media Store and Yango.
IMAA CEO Sam Buchanan said it's been a bumper year for indies so it was great to see the sun shining as IMAA's Board, Leadership team, members and media partner ARN spent the afternoon cruising around Sydney Harbour.
"It's important to celebrate our collective success, especially as we round out the year, and everything that has been achieved. Indies are only going from strength to strength as we continue to level the playing field in the sector," he said.
"A big thank you to ARN, who partnered with us for this event, helping us to celebrate such a successful year."
