PHD has promoted Alex Pacey to the role of chief product officer for Australia.

Pacey steps into the newly-created position after six years with the agency, most recently as head of implementation. He will be responsible for driving the strategic product of the agency, servicing a wide range of clients in addition to his planning remit.

“Alex is one of the most talented, strategic thinkers I have ever worked with,” says PHD Australia managing director Stuart Bailey.

“He has the support and respect of the strategic and planning community due to his dedication to the development and growth of our product, our clients and our people.”

Pacey has almost 15 years’ experience across the industry and has worked with clients such as Google, Unilever and Fitness and Lifestyle Group. Prior to joining PHD, he worked at Ikon Communications and Universal McCann.

“PHD is known for its strength in strategy and planning and I am extremely pleased to be positioned to help elevate this further and take this to new heights,” Pacey says.

“We have a wealth of smart and creative talent at PHD, and I look forward to working closely with our product teams to continuously drive the good work forward.”
