WPP Media has promoted Peta Southcombe and Tess Eastcott to client managing director roles at Mindshare Melbourne, while Chris Solomon departs after eight years.

Southcombe takes responsibility for Mindshare's Melbourne client portfolio, which includes NAB, the Australian Labor Party, Rolex, Nike and the University of Melbourne, after more than 15 years across WPP Media, including a decade with Mindshare.

Eastcott, who joined from PHD in 2024, will lead a dedicated team for the NAB Group account, covering NAB, uBank and MyCard.

Both will report to Mindshare chief Maria Grivas.

"Peta is an exceptional leader whose deep client understanding, commercial discipline and genuine care for people make her a natural choice to lead our Melbourne client portfolio," Grivas said.

"Having joined us over a year ago, Tess has made a considerable impact, deepening our partnership with NAB."

Southcombe said the agency had built an approach that had driven sustained momentum.

"I'm incredibly proud to step into this role and continue working alongside our clients and teams in Melbourne," she said.

Eastcott said the NAB unit was created to deliver sharper focus and deeper integration.

"I'm excited to lead a team that is so deeply invested in delivering meaningful commercial outcomes," she said.
