Independent media agency Half Dome has made its head of commercial, Paul Wilkinson, redundant.

Joe Frazer, head of growth at Half Dome, told AdNews the media agency has been growing at pace over the past 12 months.

The agency announced in April a new brand positioning centred on the agency’s promise to unlock the Whole Potential of its clients and people.

"[So it's] not uncommon when organisations experience such growth, it's sometimes necessary to reassess role requirements, and this is what we have done with our commercial and investment functions and operations, which we will be announcing shortly," Frazer said.

Wilkinson was in the role for less than two years and announced his departure on LinkedIn.

"I'd like to thank the whole team down there for a spectacular ride, I've learnt so much in the last two years that I will carry with me for a long time," Wilkinson said.

"Particular shout outs go to Catherine Smith Joe Frazer Will Harms Rhett Mitchelhill Renee Murray and Tom Frazer - a top team that bring a real family feel to the workplace.

"As for me - I'll be doing the school run and getting the spring veggies ready to go in the ground - then it's onto the next challenge, whatever & wherever that may be."

Wilkinson's current job title is set to freelancer.

Frazer told AdNews that Wilkinson has been a huge part of Half Dome’s journey and will remain a close friend of the leadership team.

"Paul has been part of revolutionary change at Half Dome, with his expertise and support across many teams within our business giving a hugely important contribution during his time with the agency," said Frazer.

"We thank and we wish him well on future endeavours."
