Paul Bradbury, after almost 20 years leading TBWA across Australia and New Zealand, is stepping down from his regional leadership role proud of the culture at the agency.

“Having worked at TBWA for nearly 20 years, this step feels like a natural progression,” Bradbury said.

“I’ve had the privilege of building something very special, with brilliant people by my side.

"I’m incredibly proud of the culture we’ve shaped, one built on generosity, creative hunger and a deep belief in Disruption® (the agency’s methodology).”

TBWA\Worldwide describes Bradbury’s tenure as being characterised by ambition, reinvention, a steadfast belief in Disruption® and the power of creativity to create real impact.

Under Bradbury’s leadership, TBWA secured and grew significant client partnerships, including Tourism New Zealand, Telstra and Heinz.

TBWA\Worldwide said his focus on creativity, cultural resonance and strategic clarity helped the agency become the fastest-growing creative agency collective across Australia and New Zealand in the past two years.

“For almost two decades, Paul built trust and respect with some of the country’s most accomplished marketers, resulting in long term partnerships within a highly competitive pitch environment,” said Troy Ruhanen, Global CEO, Omnicom Advertising Group.

“He led with the kind of creative ambition that left a mark on the industry, and the agency he helped define.

“We thank Paul for the value he has created not just for TBWA\Australia and New Zealand, but the wider TBWA collective, and we wish him all the very best.”

Bradbury pioneered new operating structures including ElevenPR, launched retail agency Fabr\c and production arm Bolt.

As an early advocate for DE&I, Bradbury embedded it into the agency’s core, well before it became industry standard.

“Working alongside Paul for almost two decades has been a rare and enduring partnership, built on his unwavering vision and integrity, both as a leader and a person,” said Adrian Paul, COO, TBWA\Australia.

“That has always been his guiding force, and it’s what will continue to shape our culture well into the future.”

Bradbury joined Whybin\TBWA\ Tequila Sydney as general manager in 2007 and was promoted the following year to managing director in Sydney

In 2010, he became CEO of Whybin\TBWA\Tequila Sydney and in 2014 was promoted to regional chief executive officer of the Whybin\TBWA Group Australia and New Zealand where he oversaw Whybin\TBWA, Digital Arts Network (DAN), The Integer Group®, ElevenPR and Fleishman Hillard.

In 2016 to the present he led TBWA\Australia & New Zealand as CEO & regional president.
