Women's lifestyle publisher Are Media has appointed Jimmy Kerr NSW head of sales.
Kerr from August 11 will report to director of sales Anna Quinn and lead the state’s agency and client sales team, with a focus on cross-platform commercial growth and client-led solutions across Are Media’s brand portfolio.
He joins from Optus Sport, where he spent nearly five years, most recently as director, commercial revenue. Previous roles at Optus Sport included national associate director of advertising and national advertising sales manager.
He has also held senior sales positions at Seven West Media.
“Joining Are Media at this transformational time is a real privilege. The business is evolving with clear intent, and I’m energised by the opportunity to lead the NSW sales team into its next chapter,” Kerr said.

Quinn said Kerr was a very welcome addition to the Are Media team.
