Nathan Rosenberg, head of marketing and brand at Optus is leaving the telco.

He will remain with Optus until September, but is currently travelling overseas and is thought to be taking up a post outside of Australia.

Rosenberg joined Optus in 2012 from the US to head up the brand's repositioning and overhaul.

He formerly worked with both Vodafone and Virgin Mobile in Australia before moving to Virgin Mobile in Canada.

Rosenberg has also been a driving force behind the network's Clever Buoy activity in partnership with M&C Saatchi.

Speaking to AdNews earlier this year in Cannes, Rosenberg urged Australian businesses and agencies to collaborate more to drive progress in tech and innovation.
