Out-of-home media network oOh!media has extended its portfolio across Eastern Sydney with the launch of the Waverley Council Street furniture network.

The sites have recently been converted to 100% digital.

The Waverley network has 106 digital faces. This includes 16 new premium consecutives and 3 unique digital special-build locations  across Bondi Junction, Campbell Parade at Hall Street and Curlewis Street.

This brings oOh!’s portfolio to a total of 151 new out-of-home panels across Waverley and Woollahra.

Waverley’s Street Furniture network focuses on sustainability and innovation. This includes nearly 30 shelters with ‘Living Roofs’  with living plants to reduce heat, improve air quality, and enhance biodiversity. Twenty-three of these shelters have phone charging stations, and three have battery-hybrid systems to help reduce carbon emissions.

Robbie Dery, chief commercial operating officer, oOh! recognised the value of upgrading to a fully digital network, to not only drive innovation, but create meaningful brand experiences for consumers.

“Upgrading to a fully digital network with sustainable features shows how innovation can make public spaces better while delivering real value and impact for brands,” he said.

“Waverley is one of Sydney’s most vibrant areas, with Bondi Beach alone attracting up to 50,000 people a day over summer. Living roofs, renewable power, and hybrid shelters create engaging, high-quality environments and give brands a way to connect with locals and visitors through one of Australia’s most advanced Out of Home networks.”

The network currently has the Sydney Metro and Martin Place Retail Precinct.

And last month, oOh!media announced the launch of the Beaches Network, which spans across more than 100 coastal locations including, Sydney’s Bondi and Palm Beach, Melbourne’s St Kilda, Brisbane’s Suttons, Glenelg in South Australia and Perth’s Cottesloe.
