OMA: Outdoor net media revenue up 18%

Out-of-home advertising revenue grew 17.86% to $697.3 million for the half year to June, according to the Outdoor Media Association. 

Digital OOH revenue now accounts for 76.1% of total net media revenue year to date, up from 74.4% this time last year. 

OMA membership has also continued to grow. 

The biggest OOH category, roadside billboards (over and under 25 square metres) saw net media revenue increase to $294.9 million ($253.1 million in 2024). 

Roadside Other (street furniture, bus/tram externals, small format) was up at $150.1 million.

Transport (including airports) grew to $104.4 million from $76.8 million the previous year. 

Category retail, lifestyle and other (street furniture, bus/tram externals, small format) also posted an increase at $147.9 million ($129.9 million in 2024).
