OMA Industry Awards 2026 winners revealed

The Outdoor Media Association has named the winners of the2026 OMA Industry Awards, from a record pool of 119 nominations.

QMS chief marketing officer Tennille Burt took the OMA Industry Award, recognised for her support of key industry initiatives including the rollout of MOVE as the currency of OOH.

Colin Hindmarsh and Chris Tyquin were inducted into the OMA Hall of Fame. 

Hindmarsh was recognised for transforming bus advertising into a respected media channel and his influence on transit advertising in Australia. 

Tyquin was celebrated for more than four decades of leadership, strengthening measurement and governance and championing industry collaboration.

Elizabeth McIntyre, CEO of OMA and MOVE, said the awards recognised the people behind the progress of the industry.

"The OMA Industry Awards are about recognising the people behind the progress of our industry — those raising the standard through innovation, leadership and service. Congratulations to every finalist and winner, and thank you for the energy you bring to Out of Home, every day," she said.

The winners:

Emerging leader: Adele Rose, JCDecaux. Highly commended: Cassandra Nott-Want, oOh!media; Nick Crowe, QMS.

Excellence in innovation: Nick Neville, oOh!media. Highly commended: Krystal Dukas, Big Screen Video.

Outstanding service — NSW: Ben Allman, BroadSign; VIC: Tim Murphy, QMS; QLD: Geoff Noonan, QMS; SA: Paul Ellery, Big Screen Video; WA: Michael Overington, oOh!media.

Rising star — NSW: Guss Houston, JCDecaux. Highly commended: Chang Weng, JCDecaux. VIC: Whitney Portwine, QMS. Highly commended: Ruby Meers, oOh!media; Ben Lloyd, Hanlon Industries. QLD: Brooke Hindmarsh, GoTransit. Highly commended: Jorjha Unwin Vickery, oOh!media; Nellie Thomas, Bishopp. WA: Izi Bird, QMS. SA: Tiana Passelli, oOh!media.

Excellence in design and construction: The Emporium Melbourne, Vicinity Centres and QMS.

Excellence in field work and work health and safety: Raphael Owen, VMO. Highly commended: Neini Tuipulotu, QMS; Sujith Reddy, Hanlon Industries.
