NOVA Entertainment has launched its audio streaming apps on Apple TV.
Its stations are now available on Apple TV via the Nova TV Player, Smooth TV Player, FIVEAA TV Player and Star 104.5 TV Player apps.
NOVA, following the April roll-out on Google TV and Android TV, now claims to be the only commercial radio network in Australia with dedicated apps across multiple Smart TV platforms.
“Our priority is making content available across all the devices and platforms our listeners expect,” said director of digital strategy, capabilities and data, Michelle Golding said.
“With 80% of Australians owning a Smart TV and 82% of music streaming happening at home via smart speakers and Connected TVs*, further expanding our SMART TV portfolio to Apple TV is a win for audiences and for our advertisers looking to reach them."
The launch is part of NOVA’s strategy to expand distribution and create more opportunities for audiences to tune in, tapping into the rapidly growing Connected TV market.
