Nova Entertainment appoints chief growth officer

Nova Entertainment has appointed Adam Johnson as chief growth officer.

In the newly-created role, Johnson will oversee the network’s brand marketing and communications. He will also lead the group’s growth in connected audiences through its digital product and content development while driving Nova’s data and distribution strategy.

“As Nova Entertainment continues to capitalise on and grow our strategic audio aspirations, Adam’s extensive experience working with some of the world’s biggest media and technology brands, combined with his consumer and data focus, will allow us to continue to grow audience across all our channels, facilitate effective promotion of NOVA’s assets across our platforms and help deliver data and insight about our growing consumer base for our advertisers,” says Peter Charlton, NOVA Entertainment CEO.

Johnson has more than 17 years' business and marketing experience across media, digital and global technology.

Before joining Nova Entertainment, he was based in London as chief marketing officer for Global, a media and entertainment company. Johnson has also worked for Microsoft, George Patterson/Y&R, and Nokia Australia.
