No blocking The Block

Nine's The Block Glasshouse continued its run at the top end of the TV ratings last night, while Ten's The Bachelor slumped to a series low.

The Block Glasshouse was the second most-watched free-to-air program last night, winning an audience of 1.063 million across Australia's five metro areas.

The Bachelor, which went head-to-head with The Block in the 7.30pm timeslot, pulled in 579,000 viewers (down from last Thursday's 594,000), putting it in 18th spot.

Nine's The Footy Show also made the top 10, with an audience of 806,000 putting it in eighth spot, according to preliminary overnight ratings figures from OzTam.

And Nine News was the most-watched program, winning 1.109 million viewers, setting Nine up to take the biggest audience share, at 31.1%. Seven followed with 25.8%, and Ten took 18.8%.

Completing the top 10 was Seven News, in third spot with 1.052 million viewers, Nine News at 6.30, fourth with 1.008 million, Seven's Today Tonight, fifth with 967,000, Seven's Home and Away, sixth with 842,000, Nine's A Current Affair, seventh with 841,000, ABC News, ninth with 779,000, and 7.30 on ABC1, 10th with 763,000.
