Nine Upfront: 2026 content slate

Nine has revealed what’s on the cards for its 2026 content slate.

Reality

Favourites such as Love Island, Married At First Sight, Lego Masters, The Floor, Travel Guides and The Block will all return. 

MAFS After The Dinner Party will launch on Stan.

Following its success in the U.S.,The Golden Bachelor makes its Australian debut hosted by Samantha Armytage. 

Later this year, Jamie Durie returns to Nine for Jamie Durie’s Future House which addresses Australia’s housing crisis. 

Hosted by Scott Cam and 4-time Olympic Gold medalist Ariarne Titmus, SHARK! follows six celebrities in the Bahamas as they confront their fears of the ocean.

Australian shark attack survivor Paul de Gelder will help guide them. 

Drama 

Outback Murder Highway is a crime series that focuses on Queensland’s infamous 800-kilometre Flinders Highway.

Events That Changed will Australia explores significant events and moments in history that have shaped the country and culture. 

Sport 

Nine has secured the exclusive, multi-platform broadcast rights for the World Athletics Championships in a four-year deal starting 2026.

“We were all captivated by the incredible performances of the Australian team in Tokyo, and we are thrilled to become the exclusive home of the World Athletics Championships,” said Brent Williams, Nine’s director of sport. 

“This partnership will see Nine broadcast the next generation of track and field superstars, telling their stories and showcasing their amazing talents. This multi-year deal cements Nine’s commitment to delivering world-class, free-to-air sports coverage for all Australians.”

The Rugby World Cup 2027 will be exclusive to Stan Sport and the 9Network.
