Nine's Nick Young joins Nova

Nova Entertainment has appointed Nine’s Nick Young as chief commercial officer.

He is currently director of sales - digital and publishing at Nine Entertainment where he has been responsible for the commercialisation and data strategy for its digital and publishing platform since 2019.

In his new role, Young is responsible for the development and execution of Nova Entertainment’s commercial strategy.

He will work closely with the network’s senior commercial leaders, taking responsibility for creating commercial opportunities for clients and brands and capitalising on Nova’s digital audio and broadcast platforms.

Young will lead NOVA’s industry leading commercial function, including agency and direct sales, digital commercial teams and inventory management.

“Nick’s extensive track record and commercial strength in digital and data will be a great asset to our commercial team and the wider business. Working with Group Commercial Director Luke Minto and Digital Audio Commercial and Network Director Kane Reiken, his appointment complements our highly experienced senior leadership team which includes the recent appointments of a Chief Growth Officer and Commercial Operations Director.

Young has held several senior commercial roles within digital, audio, television and agency businesses, working for two years at Ninemsn and eight years with the Multi Channel Network in a variety of roles.
