The countdown for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 has begun, with coverage across the 9Network, 9Now and Stan Sport.
Amanda Laing, managing director, streaming and broadcast for Nine, said the network offers Australians the flexibility to enjoy the games in their own way.
“Milano Cortina 2026 will showcase the full power of Nine’s ecosystem – with Stan Sport delivering every minute of every sport, live and on demand, no matter which country you support, including all medal moments in stunning 4K Ultra HD,” she said.
“The 9Network will bring the biggest moments for our Aussie athletes live and free to the nation, while 9Now ensures audiences can relive those moments anytime with on-demand access and discovery. Together, we’re giving Australians the freedom to experience the Winter Olympics their way.”
Coverage begins February 4 with the Let The Games Begin! preview show, followed by the Nine opening ceremony on February 7 (AEDT).
9Now will stream every 9Network moment live and on demand.
Stan Sport offers the most comprehensive coverage including every sport and every feed live and on demand, with the Every Medal event in 4K Ultra HD.
Stan Sport will provide international broadcast feeds – including Eurosport’s two Italian channels and UK channel courtesy of Warner Brothers Discovery, and live coverage from Sky New Zealand.
Stan Sport will simulcast 9Network’s coverage alongside its sport feeds, with expanded video on demand (VOD) for full-length replays, highlights and multi-feed coverage.
Nine will continue as the exclusive broadcaster of the Paralympic Winter Games from March 6 to 15.
