Nine Radio has upgraded the listening experience for footy fans with sync commentary available on 2GB, 4BC, 3AW and 6PR.
The technology optimises footy coverage by allowing listeners to set their viewing experience, whether they are at the stadium, using free to air, or streaming, and delay audio to match the live action of 3AW Football, 6PR Football and Continuous Call Team game calls.
Nine Radio managing director Tom Malone said this new feature provides flexibility for listeners with more control over how they consume content.
“Audi-sync fuses the unparalleled ‘live and local’ strength of our stations with technology that makes our content more accessible and engaging than ever before,” he said.
Product manager of audio and streaming Juliane Djidi said the update prioritises audience satisfaction by enhancing their experience of the game.
“It brings our sports fans even closer to the action and provides them with a new way to enjoy our live commentary, no matter how they're watching the game," she said.
