Nielsen has appointed Matty Lin as APAC regional sales leader, based in Singapore.
Lin joins from TikTok/Bytedance, where he was general manager of global business solutions for Southeast Asia and South Korea, leading commercial strategy and regional P&L.
He will lead Nielsen’s commercial organisation across Asia-Pacific, reporting to chief revenue officer Amilcar Perez.
“Nielsen sits at a truly special intersection of content, commerce and audience behaviour,” he said.
“APAC is one of the most dynamic and diverse regions in the world, and as consumer habits evolve at unprecedented speed, the need for accurate, independent and future-ready measurement has never been greater.”

Perez welcomed Lin to the company and was full of praise for his experience and expertise.
