Marketing strategist Nicolette Briscoe has launched Life by Design Coaching, a mindset and leadership practice for leaders, founders and high-achievers.

Briscoe brings 20 years of experience shaping brands and guiding corporate communications, including her most recent role in marketing at the AANA (Australian Association of National Advertisers).

Life by Design Coaching is built on her view that leadership performance is undermined by unconscious habits and reactive behaviour rather than a lack of effort or ambition.

"We get addicted to the 'hustle' because it feels like progress, but for many over-achievers, and I speak from experience here, it is simply a reactive loop that leads to decision fatigue and diminished impact," said Briscoe.

"Mindset coaching helps leaders step out of that script, recoding the unconscious mind to a more values-aligned playbook.

"Life by Design Coaching is built on a high-fidelity approach to leadership, ensuring that a leader's internal mindset architecture is aligned to the external public persona they present to the world. And if they haven't nailed their external profile, then I can help with that too."

Briscoe said the practice draws on techniques to identify deep-held beliefs and inherited patterns that drive unwanted behaviour, combined with nervous system regulation.

The practice focuses on three areas. The first is unconscious re-coding — identifying and releasing limiting beliefs that dictate behaviour.

The second is strategic intentionality — moving from reactive striving to a leadership style rooted in values.

The third is somatic mastery — training the nervous system to maintain clarity under high-pressure conditions.

"This isn't about slowing down; it's about leading without depletion. When you align your unconscious drivers with your professional goals, you stop performing for the sake of the 'hustle' and start architecting a life and career that is authentically yours. It's a shift to intentional design," Briscoe said.

Briscoe is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming coach and mindfulness teacher.
