New “digital shepherd” steps up at OMD

OMD Sydney has promoted its current national head of digital, Stuart Bailey, into a new role as chief digital officer.

Bailey, who joined the business in 2012 and has more than 14 years industry experience across Australia and the UK, will be responsible for driving and implementing the digital vision for OMD nationally.

Bailey will work in collaboration with specialised business units Resolution, Accuen, Word and Airwave to further optimise best in breed product for clients.

CEO of OMD Australia, Peter Horgan, said the new role is testament to the exponential growth and evolution of the OMD digital product over recent years.

“Stuart has recently been described as the ‘digital shepherd’,” Horgan said.

“Further proof that we harbour the best talent in the industry under our own roof, Stuart was the perfect candidate for this new role aligning our national offering across multiple stakeholders and driving digital innovation across this massive part of the business.”
