Place-based media company Motio is confident it can keep the momentum which delivered a strong profit run into the end of the June financial year.

The ASX-listed company closed the financial year with profit after tax of $2.2 million, up 1,796%.

Revenue was down 2% to $9.2. May and June delivered record revenue.

“Our forward revenue position is very healthy, our cash generation has strengthened and we continue to make progress across our people, products and networks,” said CEO Adam Cadwallader in the company's annual report.

“Our immediate priority is to convert that momentum into sustainable revenue growth while maintaining the financial discipline and earnings quality demonstrated in FY26.

“We will continue to build on the strength of our existing networks, develop new products and selectively pursue opportunities that can add scale, capability and long-term value. FY26 demonstrated that Motio is becoming a stronger, more profitable and increasingly valuable business.”
