Independent brand design agency Molasses has appointed Andy Hopkinson to its creative team.
Hopkinson brings experience working with alcohol and FMCG brands, including First Light, Mountain Culture and Stone & Wood.
He will work across Molasses’ full client portfolio, supporting the agency’s founders and creative team as it continues to expand its design capabilities.
“I believe in the power of great branding and design, specifically when it comes to connecting with the right consumer at the right time," Hopkinson said.
"I’m excited to get stuck into expanding my design thinking, working with the team across a broad range of FMCG and alcohol clients.”
Molasses has grown in recent months, with new clients including Taylors Wines.
The agency’s broader portfolio includes Pernod Ricard, Allied Pinnacle, Marnong Estate, Briar Ridge, MILKLAB, and Birch & Waite.
“Over the past eight years we’ve steadily grown our work with FMCG and alcohol brands," said Molasses co-founder and brand director, Dan Parritt.
"As markets continue to evolve and their service requirements extend, we need the most experienced talent in place to ensure the agency continues to deliver the best design, insight and service to them.
“As well as being an awesome person, Andy has a great understanding of design and production, particularly in the beer space, and thinks with a strategic lens, a perfect fit for what we deliver for our clients. We are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
