The order of things has well and truly settled in the reality stakes, and it seems Australians like the tried and true rather than the new.

Seven's My Kitchen Rules (MKR) once again blew away the competition, bringing in more than 1.7 million according to the overnight OzTAM ratings.

It gave a solid lead-in to new US drama How to Get Away with Murder, which got 1.08 million viewers on debut. However, it couldn't beat out new episode of The Big Bang Theory, which got 1.1 million for Channel Nine.

Meanwhile, Channel Nine's The Block continues to struggle against its previous series, with it pulling in 742,000 last night.

Ten's major reality series I'm a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! Posted 581,000 in the 7.30 – 8.30pm timeslot, but given the program ran 11 minutes late, Ten says the confirmed time figures are more like 599,000.

In the capital cities, Nine's news duo beat out Seven's, but Seven came away with the win on the back of its MKR juggernaut.

It posted a 33.1% share against Nine's 28.6%, while Ten had an 18.1 point night with the ABC coming in at 15.8%.
