Mirriad to sell programmatic ads through Magnite

In-content advertising technology group Mirriad has announced a partnership with sell-side advertising platform Magnite.

Mirriad’s AI ad Inventory will be available for sale via the Magnite platform, which facilitates the programmatic sale of in-content advertising.

Stephan Beringer, CEO of Mirriad, said: "Our collaboration with Magnite is a momentous step forward in terms of our ability to activate in-content inventory programmatically.

“By scaling across platforms we can drive more valuable ad inventory, from a broader range of video content, to advertisers and their agencies. Working with Magnite is a true milestone on our path to scale.”

This partnership comes after two big industry players, Amazon and NBC Universal, committed to placing virtual product placement (VPP) in their streaming services.

A tell-tale sign that the virtual product placement industry is ramping up for expansion into the digital media ecosystem.
