Programmatic technology company MiQ has restructured its ANZ commercial leadership, promoting Paul Bates to general manager of sales for Victoria and South Australia and Hannah Cooper to the new role of general manager of sales, NSW, Queensland and New Zealand.

Bates joined MiQ in August last year after senior roles at Broadsheet Media, Cartology, REA Group and Fairfax.

Cooper has been with MiQ since 2020 and previously held leadership roles at Quantcast, Yahoo7 and Seven West Media.

Madison Wappett has also been promoted to national commercial strategist, focused on agency and brand partnerships, having joined MiQ in 2020 as Queensland sales director.

Four new group account director roles have been created across the eastern seaboard. MiQ senior sales manager Mia Marasco steps into the Victoria role, Claire O'Donel takes Queensland, and Erin Koedam (formerly JCDecaux and Hivestack by Perion) and Kirsten Newbury (formerly Lotame) fill the two NSW positions.

"Paul, Hannah and Madison bring nearly five decades of leadership and digital experience to their new roles," said chief revenue officer Chris Freel.

"Their combined expertise and leadership experience give me great confidence in our ability to execute, innovate and deliver long-term value for our clients."

The restructure follows the launch of MiQ's AI-powered Sigma planning tool and is designed to drive client uptake of the platform across a broadened suite of solutions.
