Australian advertising technology company Cartelux has renewed and extended its platform agreement with Mini Australia and New Zealand into 2022.

Cartelux enables Mini dealers in both countries to create and launch digital advertising campaigns in less than 60 seconds.

Australia and New Zealand are the first markets in a global pilot for the BMW Group.

Cartelux automates ad creation, streamlines approvals needed and expedites the media buying process for both the regional office, based in Melbourne, and the entire dealer network.

The Mini brand saw sales growing 17% in Q1 of 2021 versus the first quarter of 2020 in Australia, and 14.7% higher against the same period in New Zealand.

Victoria Abbass, retail and network marketing manager at Mini Australia and New Zealand says that Cartelux is enabling MINI to deliver cohesive, integrated digital campaigns in a way that was previously much more laborious.

“Working with Cartelux, all our dealers can now run vibrant digital advertising campaigns for local area marketing with minimal input and effort," Abbass says.

"This means the dealer marketing managers are free to focus on other priorities, delivering cost and time efficiencies."

Abbass sees Cartelux's ability to integrate finance offers straight into ad collateral as distinct advtange of working with the business.

“It’s exciting working with Mini on this platform and seeing how Victoria is extending capabilities to dealers that really innovate and benefit the company,” Cartelux global general manager Patrick Doble says.

Initially adopted by the automotive industry, with the need to solve video on a global scale has seen Cartelux secure several new multinational clients across a range of verticals.

The Mini deal is a significant milestone for Cartelux as it comes hot off the back of a global deal with Kia earlier this year.

The company is seeing significant growth both domestically and internationally and announced the key hires to the executive team of Patrick Doble and Raoul Picello last year, with Hervé Genin being appointed this year to lead EMEA.
