Former Havas executive chairman Mike Wilson has been appointed as an independent non-executive director at influencer agency Hypetap.
Wilson stepped down as chair of Havas Media Group AUNZ in August this year. He had been the founding CEO of the business since 2013 and became chair in 2019.
“We’re delighted to welcome Mike to Hypetap’s board,” says Hypetap founder and CEO Detch Singh.
“He brings a wealth of experience in building and scaling great businesses from the ground up. We look forward to working with him on our next phase of growth.”
Wilson joins the agency following a significant period of organic growth as it positions itself for continued expansion.

Wilson joins CEO Detch Singh, CTO Dhruv Singh as well as former CEO of Mindshare Australia John Petropoulos on the board.
