ARN has announced two key promotions, aimed at enhancing the broadcaster’s commercial, data and technology capabilities.

Michael Stephenson, ARN’s new CEO, has added Richard Hunwick and Ben Campbell to the executive leadership team.

"We have a very clear plan and I'm excited to work alongside Rich and Ben to deliver our bold vision for the future, to deliver a better experience for audiences, new opportunities for brands, and greater value for our shareholders,” said Stephenson.

Hunwick has been promoted to chief sales officer from his role as director of sales, total audio.

He will continue to lead ARN's national sales team, overseeing metro, regional and digital revenues across the network's leading live broadcast, streaming and podcast assets. All state sales directors will continue to report to him.

He will also take on responsibility for Integrate by ARN, as well as pricing, inventory, sales operations and research functions, further enhancing ARN's integrated commercial offering for clients.

"I'm so excited to be able to lead this incredible group of people into the next phase at ARN," said Hunwick.

“We've done a lot of hard work as a team, transforming our structure to support acceleration into a digital future – I'm thrilled we now get to take that vision to the market," said Hunwick.

Ben Campbell has been promoted to chief digital and technology officer.

He will lead ARN's digital transformation, driving innovation across technology, data and product strategy.

And he will oversee ARN's digital platform iHeart, data, ad tech and programmatic, and will lead technology functions including infrastructure, systems, engineering and cyber security.

"I'm thrilled at the chance to help shape the next phase of ARN's digital growth and innovation,” he said.

“Audio consumption across radio streaming, music streaming, and podcasting in Australia is enormous and it continues to grow. ARN is the market leader, and we have a massive opportunity to reimagine how audiences and advertisers connect through the power of entertainment," said Campbell.
