Menulog has launched a TikTok hashtag challenge #DeliveritDifferently giving Australians the chance to be the next big thing in the Aussie music world and win the recording prize of a lifetime with the Mushroom Group, after a challenging few years for musicians and recording artists.

Following the success of “Did Somebody Say” track first delivered by Snoop Dogg, Australian-born Menulog has partnered with the Mushroom Group to remix the now iconic track with home-grown Aussie artists Baker Boy, Big Twisty, D’Arcy Spiller and Kirsten Salty.

#DeliveritDifferently challenges local creators to put their own spin on the popular “Did Somebody Say’ Track whether it’s the lyrics, creating their own musical version or even just banging it out on kitchen utensils.

Recording opportunity of a lifetime with Mushroom Group prize is valued at over $25,000 and includes; Pre-recording mentoring and co-writing guidance, full day in-studio recording and A+R support.

The campaign has launched with Big Twisty and 8 Australian Tiktok Creators including; Rory Eliza (@roryeliza), H3rizon(@h3rizonmusic) Go-Jo (@heyimgojo) and Charley (@itmecharley).

Fiona Bateman, Menulog Head of Brand: “Our homes have become a stage during a truly difficult time in the music industry. We’ve seen Aussies take on the world from their bedrooms, now we want to give homegrown talent the opportunity to take it to the next level. We want to hear from all the talented Aussie artists out there #DeliverItDifferently."

Dave Jansen, Creative Partner of Connecting Plots: “The Snoop Dogg campaign created a mnemonic device so famous that primary school children started singing it.

“TikTok is the obvious channel to localise this platform and to help Aussies make it their own as it has brought back the fun, irreverent and ametuer-ish approach to content that spurred on the early internet."

Jess Tarpey, Chief Operating Officer at Mushroom Creative House: “We were incredibly proud to create and produce the Menulog ‘Everyone Delivers Differently’ work. Being able to support local Australian artists after a difficult 18 months felt - and still feels – incredibly, incredibly important for us to do as a business. Evolving this further to bring in both TikTok artists and local consumers feels like the perfect next step. We’re looking forward to seeing where they take it.”

Launching today TikTok hashtag challenge #DeliveritDifferently will be supported by radio and online video.  The #DeliveritDifferently campaign will run  December 1 - 21.  Full prize details available here.
