oOh!media has appointed media and out-of-home executive Mel Duffy to lead a newly formed 11-person sales and partnerships team.
The team will report to chief product and marketing officer Bel Harper, whose remit has brought marketing, creative and innovation hub POLY and product and partnerships together.
Harper said the team was “hand-picked” based on product and media knowledge.
“With so many important contracts transferring to our rich product portfolio, including Waverley, Manly, and Northern Beaches Councils, Sydney Metro and Melbourne Metro Tunnels and the massive Transurban win in Melbourne and Brisbane, this exceptional team will lead our charge in market and support our teams to deliver best in class solutions to our customers on world class assets,” Harper said.
Duffy, who joins as head of product sales and partnerships, brings more than 20 years’ experience spanning business development, client leadership, investment, strategy and managing high performing teams.
With extensive agency knowledge and a previous stint at oOh!, she returns to oOh!media after having held senior roles at Hearts & Science, Mindshare, MediaCom and Carat. Most recently, she was client partner at Initiative.
“Being able to lead product sales and partnerships in executing customer focused strategies that drives growth for our clients, and our business, has me feeling incredibly energised,” she said.
“Further to this, deep product expertise is immensely valuable to our clients in this ever changing Out of Home landscape. It is through such specialist knowledge that the greatest opportunities arise for our clients. I am excited for what’s to come.”
The product sales and partnerships team includes Jamie Gill, Chloe Swinton, Bill Athanassiou, Samantha Stewart, Donna Tauro, Jessica MacDonald, Jenna D’Auvergne and Brittany Simpson, Nicole Pennells and Sophie Bray.
