Mediahub Sydney appoints Gerry Bowness as head of digital

Mediahub Sydney has appointed Gerry Bowness as head of digital, Sydney.

Bowness was most recently responsible for driving digital evolution at Publicis Australia, Europe and the Middle East.

This included crafting digital strategy for tier one clients including Marriott and Samsung.

He was responsible for leading innovation in the fields of programmatic, search and social and helping brands navigate through the complex data and tech landscape.

In his new role, Bowness is tasked with evolving and further growing the digital strategic offering of Mediahub.

“With over half of our clients’ budgets being directed into addressable channels, bolstering our leadership in this area is key to support to our business model, particularly as we begin to prepare for what a cookie-less future may bring," Mediahub Australia managing director Andrew Livingston says.

"Having Gerry on-board will help us keep our digital offering future focussed and hyper-relevant for all of our clients."

Bowness says the agency's appealing proposition lured him to the agency.
