MediaCom announced the appointment of Sophie Price as Chief Strategy Officer and Prajat Khare Managing Director Data Led Planning & Systems Intelligence.
Price spent four years at M&C Saatchi and Bohemia as head of integrated strategy. She is the only individual in Australia to have led strategy in both a creative agency and media agency, including UM Australia.
“I’m truly excited by the opportunity to marry my skills in integrated strategy and creativity with the might of MediaCom’s data planning and technology capabilities, led by Prajat," she says.
"This will be a powerful combination to accelerate our clients’ growth.”
Prajat Khare joins MediaCom as its first Managing Director, Data Led Planning & Systems Intelligence.
Khare has relocated from Tokyo, Japan, where he held the role of Global Account Director on a leading global skincare brand SK-II, running a team across twelve countries and four continents.
Khare will now be responsible for E2E Product transformation powered by Data, Analytics and Systems Intelligence.
He will lead a team which will provide data and insights expertise to power E2E consumer journey maximisation, content performance and wider business planning, enabling the agency to add rigour and consistency across the E2E and for all clients.
Khare: “In my decade long career with the MediaCom network, I’ve had opportunities to work across the value chain of our business, on different marque brands, in different countries and continents.
"I’ve embraced an always-on learning curve, and I’m really looking forward to continuing it in Australia.
"A worldview, a new perspective, subject matter expertise and a staunch belief in collaboration, cocreation & problem solving, these all form part of what I will bring along with me, only adding to the awesomeness that already exists in the MediaCom Australia team! I’m confident that we will uncover a newer and bigger picture for our clients.”
Yaron Farizon, CEO MediaCom AUNZ: “In Sophie & Prajat, we have found world class talent that will add so much value and growth to our clients’ businesses. I am thrilled to announce this news as their appointments are reflective of our mission to further accelerate our planning and analytics product, and to both enhance our thought leadership and strategic capabilities.
“I have no doubt that having Sophie & Prajat join our team will only boost our planning, strategy, and data capabilities, to ensure our product is smart, fully integrated and future-proof. This is paramount for us, and I am excited to see what the future holds.”
Both national appointments are Sydney based, effective immediately.
