MediaCom Melbourne appoints ex-Publicis CCO as MD

MediaCom Melbourne has appointed Carl Colman as managing director.

Colman joins from Publicis Media where he was chief client officer for more than four years.

In his new role at MediaCom, he’s responsible for developing the existing team, while attracting new talent to improve media partner relationships.

As a member of the agency’s national executive committee, he becomes a key partner to Nicole Boyd, managing partner, Victorian government.

“We believe we have an opportunity to continue accelerating to be first in market,” Willie Pang, CEO MediaCom AUNZ, says of Colman’s appointment.

“Carl is a proven leader and has a wide skillset that is ideal in terms of helping unlock growth for our clients and our people.

“I’m proud to acknowledge Nicole’s leadership of the Victorian Government account and this partnership will ensure that we lay strong foundations for our next phase of growth.”

Colman has more than 20 years’ experience across creative, media and digital and has worked with clients including Suncorp, Telstra and Qantas.

“I’m looking forward to leading a group of very talented people in the next phase of MediaCom Melbourne’s success story,” Colman says.

“I’m excited to lead our people and clients on a path of continued growth.”
