Media Tonic, a Western Australia sales representation company, has rebranded as Jetstream Media as it expands its operations the east coast.

The company, which represents media and technology partners including Yahoo, News Australia, Cartology, and Australian Traffic Network, said the new brand reflects its push into Sydney and Melbourne alongside broader national growth ambitions.

National sales director and part-owner Hayley Treasure told AdNews the company was responding to increased demand.

“A major reason we've expanded nationally is the demand from global businesses wanting to enter into Australia, as well as new tech partners who just want to start immediately instead of spending over 12 months building and educating a team and scaling operations,” said Treasure.

She said Jetstream had recently secured a new technology partner and expected further interest from international businesses looking to enter the market.

Treasure said the company's growth had continued since entering Sydney.

"We've been able to grow the business in the east and now have a true national presence," Treasure said.

The company now operates with twenty staff nation wide.

Treasure said the Jetstream name was chosen to reflect the company's expansion from Western Australia into the eastern states.

"Jetstream is a fast-flowing air current that moves from west to east, so it was symbolic of our growth from the west to the east," she said.

Managing director Mark Treasure said the business would continue operating with the same team and partnership model that had underpinned the company for the past two decades.

“After years of building a reputation based on trust and results in the West, this rebrand is about aligning our identity with our growth ambition nationally,” he said.

Jetstream Media has also appointed former WPP executive Jesse Proud as Victoria sales director as part of its expansion strategy.

The company said Proud will strengthen its presence in Melbourne and support the rollout of its sales representation model nationally.
